I strongly believe, at the Feast of Trumpets, the Church will be snatched away and the Lord's wrath will begin on earth. The outpouring of the Lord's wrath will only occupy a brief period of time before the Jews come to the truth. Just after the sixth seal is opened, Revelation 7:1And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
At this point in time the Church has been gone, and all the new believers have been killed. The Jews have now come to the knowledge of Christ. They are now servants of God. What do servants do? They spread the Gospel. These will be preaching the Word in the absence of the Church and the new believers.
Paul wrote, Romans 11:25For I would not,
brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise
in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until
the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26And so
all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion
the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27For this is my covenant unto them, when I
shall take away their sins.
This will not only be a Day of Atonement for Israel,
for many individuals from around the world will refuse the mark of the
beast, and repent of their wickedness due to the preaching of these Jews.
And when the Lord returns to earth, He will call upon these folks that have
repented before the Book of Life is forever closed.
The Lord spoke of these individuals, Matthew 25:31When
the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him,
then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32And
before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one
from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33And
he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand,
Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world: It is this multitude
from among the nations, along with those of the House of Israel, who will
enter the Holy Kingdom still in their mortal bodies (distinct from the
raptured and glorified Church who will inhabit New Jerusalem).
These mortals will replenish the earth once
again. After the thousand year reign of Christ, when the population of earth
is built back up through these mortals.....
Revelation 20:7And when the thousand years are
expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8And
shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the
earth, Gog and Magog (Russia), to
gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the
sea. Lots of folks! Think about that for a minute.
These are people who've seen the Lord face to face. Those who have lived
under His reign. Deceived by Satan.
Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot
On the fifteenth of Tishri, the seven-day
Feast of Tabernacles begins. It is the seventh and final feast. It usually
occurs in October. Observant Jews erect little "huts" or "booths" from
bulrushes as a reminder of the temporary housing erected by their
forefathers during the Exodus wanderings. Samples of the fall crop are hung
in each family's booth to acknowledge God's faithfulness in providing for
His people. It is in connection with the Feast of Tabernacles that the Gospel of John
records a fascinating event. John 7:37 In
the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,
If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath
said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
The Son of God was saying in the clearest possible way
that He alone was the source of life and blessing - that He could meet every
need of the human heart.
The Feast of Tabernacles speaks eloquently of the
messianic Kingdom - of a new beginning without the ravages of the curse of
sin. In that day the earth will give her full bounty, all animals will be
docile, armies will no longer march, Isaiah 2:4
.....they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into
pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall
they learn war any more.
Micah 4:3....he shall judge among many
people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords
into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift
up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4But they shall sit every man under his vine and
under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the
LORD of hosts hath spoken it. Righteousness will become
reality on earth. Fifteen hundred years before Jesus was born, the
seven feasts foretold, in type, the major redemptive works of His life. The
four spring feasts related to His first coming. The three fall feasts
portray events to be associated with His second coming. The Feast of
Tabernacles speaks of the day when when the Lord Himself will tabernacle
among men, wipe away their tears, and bring the utopian age or "golden age"
of which men have dreamed since times past. Only God who is omniscient could have foretold these
astounding events. The fool denies His existence; the man of pride refuses
to accept His gracious provision of life. Time is running out - the trumpet
blast will soon be heard around the world announcing His coming to snatch
away the watchful believers. Look up! Lift up your heads, for your redemption draws nigh!
Each day of the Feast of Tabernacles was filled with important festivity.
Each day, the high priest of Israel, in a great processional made up of
priests and tens of thousands of worshipers, descend from the Temple Mount
to pause briefly at the pool of Siloam. A pitcher was filled with
water, and the procession continued via a different route back to the Temple
Mount. Here, in the midst of great ceremony, the high priest poured the
water out of the pitcher onto the altar. In Israel, the rains normally stop
in March, and there is no rain for almost seven months. If God does not
provide the "early" rains in October and November, there will be no spring
crop, and famine is at the doorstep. This ceremony , then, was intended to
invoke God's blessing on the nation so that He might provide life-giving
water.
